Terms of Service

Simple version: You buy the software, you own it forever. Deploy it, use it, grow your restaurant. Don't resell or redistribute our code.
1. Agreement
By purchasing and using Te Ta AI ("the Software"), you agree to these Terms of Service. If you don't agree, don't purchase or use the Software.
"We", "us", "our" refers to Te Ta AI. "You", "your" refers to the person or entity purchasing and using the Software.
2. What you're buying
Te Ta AI is a self-hosted software product sold as a one-time purchase. When you buy Te Ta AI, you receive:
- A license key to activate the software
- Downloadable source code (obfuscated JavaScript)
- Documentation for installation and setup
- Free updates for the version you purchased
3. License grant
Upon purchase, we grant you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to:
- Install and run the Software on unlimited servers you own or control
- Use the Software for unlimited restaurants
- Modify the Software for your own use
- Use the Software commercially (for your own business)
4. What you cannot do
- Resell the Software or license keys to others
- Redistribute the Software (free or paid) — don't share your download with others
- Offer as SaaS — don't use Te Ta AI to build a competing hosted service
- Remove license verification or copyright notices
- Claim the Software as your own creation
- Reverse-engineer the obfuscated portions of the code for redistribution purposes
5. License tiers
Starter ($46): AI WhatsApp reservation bot, restaurant dashboard, customer CRM, feedback collection. Single-channel (WhatsApp only).
Pro ($82): Everything in Starter, plus multi-channel bot (WhatsApp, Instagram, Messenger, Web Chat, Google), Jerry AI guardian agent, marketing campaigns, analytics, revenue tracking.
Enterprise ($190): Everything in Pro, plus interactive floor plan, table management, virtual waitlist, 360° guest profiles, VIP auto-tagging, AI Waiter pre-ordering, menu management, no-show prediction, automated reminders.
Each tier is unlocked by its corresponding license key. Using features beyond your licensed tier is not permitted.
6. Third-party services and costs
Te Ta AI requires third-party services that you set up and pay for independently:
- AI Provider (Anthropic, OpenAI, or Google Gemini) — estimated $2-12/month depending on usage
- Server hosting (Railway, DigitalOcean, AWS, etc.) — varies by provider
- WhatsApp — requires a phone number with WhatsApp installed
We are not responsible for the availability, pricing, or terms of these third-party services.
7. Support
We provide:
- Documentation — installation guide, README, and setup wizard
- Email support — [email protected] for technical issues
- Bug fixes — we fix reported bugs in future updates
We do NOT provide:
- Phone support
- Custom development or modifications
- Server setup or hosting management
- WhatsApp account management
8. Refund policy
Due to the digital nature of the product (instant download of source code), all sales are final. However:
- If you experience a genuine technical issue that prevents the Software from functioning, contact us within 14 days and we will work to resolve it
- If we cannot resolve the issue, we will offer a full refund
- Refund requests after 14 days are reviewed on a case-by-case basis
9. Disclaimer of warranties
The Software is provided "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that:
- The Software will be error-free or uninterrupted
- The Software will meet all your specific requirements
- Third-party services (AI providers, WhatsApp, hosting) will remain available or unchanged
We make reasonable efforts to ensure the Software works as described, and we actively fix reported bugs.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Software shall not exceed the amount you paid for your license. We are not liable for:
- Lost revenue, data, or profits resulting from use of the Software
- Issues caused by third-party services (AI provider downtime, WhatsApp changes, hosting failures)
- Unauthorized modifications you make to the Software
- Compliance with local laws in your jurisdiction
11. Your responsibilities
As a user of Te Ta AI, you are responsible for:
- Complying with WhatsApp's Terms of Service regarding automated messaging
- Complying with local privacy laws (GDPR, CCPA, etc.) for your customers' data
- Securing your server, database, and API keys
- Informing your customers that they may interact with an AI bot
- Maintaining backups of your data
- Paying your AI provider's API costs
12. WhatsApp compliance
Te Ta AI uses the Baileys library for WhatsApp connectivity. This is an unofficial WhatsApp Web API. You acknowledge that:
- WhatsApp may change their policies or API at any time
- Your WhatsApp number could be restricted if you violate WhatsApp's Terms of Service
- We recommend using a dedicated phone number for your restaurant bot
- We are not affiliated with WhatsApp or Meta
13. Updates
We may release updates to the Software. These updates are optional — you choose whether to install them. Major version upgrades (e.g., v1 to v2) may require a separate purchase.
14. Termination
Your license is perpetual unless:
- You violate these Terms (specifically: reselling, redistributing, or offering as SaaS)
- We discover fraudulent purchase activity
If we terminate your license, we will notify you by email. You must stop using the Software and delete all copies.
15. Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Albania. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Tirana, Albania. For international customers, we aim to resolve disputes amicably via email before legal action.
16. Changes to terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page. Continued use of the Software after changes constitutes acceptance.
